The Boat

The Mystery Bay is 60 feet long (17.5 meters) and was designed and purpose built for charter fishing off the NSW coast. It was built by the master boat-builder Nick Nesbutt. The huge aft deck is mostly covered and the vessel has ample space to move around with plenty of seating. There is a stand-up filleting table to clean the fish you catch on board. The Mystery Bay is in full survey for 30 people in open waters and 50 people cruising Sydney Harbour.

The Fish

The types of fish we target are deep sea fish. You are more than welcome to troll a line while we head out to the fishing grounds. The areas we fish will vary depending on the conditions of the day and time of year. The species you are likey to catch are Flat Head, Snapper, Kingfish, Marwong (deep sea bream); all great fish for eating, with too many more to mention.

The Mystery Bay has BBQ facilities so you can cook your catch straight from the ocean. All the fish you catch is yours to take home and enjoy. We help fillet and clean the fish, so there's no mess for you at home!

The Deal

The all-inclusive price of just $95 per person is for a full day's fishing. We provide your tackle, rods and reels, and the different types of bait you will need on board. We cover your recrecational fishing licence for the duration of the trip. All you need to bring along is your lunch. We have a full galley and BBQ facilities which you are more than welcome to use.

Inexperienced anglers will be guided by our professional crew. The captain and deck-hand will always be there to help you throughout the day.

Departure points are suited to your needs as we pick up from most public wharfs on Sydney Harbour. Times can also be arranged to suit, but will generally be between 6am and 2pm. We are more than happy to design a charter for your unique requirements. We cater for individual anglers and group bookings.
